DJ K2 BIOGRAPHY
DA FINLAND RANGER
DJ K2 serves as the "Certified Blazin" frontman for urban music in Finland.
He has been awarded the following titles:
- DJ of the year 2004 - Posse Magazine
- Best club/party DJ 2004 - Lifesaver Records
- Urban DJ of the year 2005 - Basso Magazine
He has also appeared on several magazines plus hosted his own mixshow on Finland's national radio.
DJ K2 was the first European to be drafted by New York's notorious Salute Entertainment DJ crew.
Consistent work with radio, clubs, mixtapes and corporate events make him one of the top urban DJ's in northern Europe.
Classic hiphop, r&b, dancehall reggae to reggaeton as well as classic disco, soul and pop music mixed perfectly together is what can be expected when DJ K2 is running the show.
Always guaranteed to turn the party out, K2 is known as the "Certified Blazin" club deejay.
DJ K2 has also played at numerous industry events and supported US hiphop acts such as 50 Cent, Fat Joe, The Game, Lloyd Banks, Joe Budden, Erick Sermon, Obie Trice and Raekwon just to name a few.

Salute Entertainment was founded by DJ Dennis Da Menace in Spanish Harlem, New York City in the late 90s and has now been tearing up the club scene for the past 8 years all over the globe.
Salute Entertainment has released a variety of hiphop/r&b/dancehall/reggaeton mixed tapes and CD’s with some of the hottest remixes known as “Salute remixes” and thus made its mark as one of the top club DJ crews in the business. Salute remixes can also be found on vinyl under New York’s legendary AV8 Record label.
Salute DJ’s have opened for live acts such as Redman and Method Man, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Cassidy, Busta Rhymes, Eve, DMX, Gang Starr, Fat Joe, P.Diddy, Elephant Man, Beenie Man, Mr. Vegas, Notch, Wayne Wonder and the late great Big Pun just to name a few. Salute has also supported reggae superstar Sean Paul since his first tours in the U.S. in the late 90s. After the millenium Salute Entertainment branched out in different states and countries to form Salute South and Salute Europe.
Salute Entertainment functions are marketing, promotion, management and a DJ crew which consists of members: Dennis Da Menace and his brother DJ ½ Pint, DJ Frank Swift, DJ Oreon, DJ Smalls, DJ Smoke Black, DJ K2 (Salute Europe), DJ K.D. (Salute South) and DJ Suave. Salute Entertainment is also on the verge of building their record label where they will be releasing their first artist “Malicious" and have also started their own record pool.
Hard work, determination and the love for music is why Salute Entertainment is one of the most recognizable DJ crews of our time.
